Katie has been part of the Shaker Up Garage team since July 2026, bringing valuable experience in both customer service and automotive service advising. Whether she’s taking care of customers up front or lending a hand in the shop, Katie is always ready to help.

Her excellent customer service skills and attention to detail make her a great resource for our customers. She takes pride in keeping you informed about your vehicle every step of the way, making sure you understand what’s happening, what your vehicle needs, and what to expect throughout the repair process.

Chad and Susan Detaege have owned Shake’R Up Garage since 2018. Susan spent many years working in the Hartford School District, where she assisted teachers and helped guide students. Today, she brings those same people skills to Shake’R Up Garage, helping with community outreach and building strong relationships with our customers.

Chad has worked as a machinist and field service engineer since 1993. Throughout his career, his mechanical background naturally led him to helping others with automotive repairs and diagnosing vehicle issues. In 2018, that experience and passion led to the opening of Shake’R Up Garage in Hartford. Since then, the shop has moved to Ashippun, Wisconsin, where we’re proud to continue growing and serving our community.

For Chad and Susan, running an auto repair shop is about more than fixing vehicles. It’s about building honest, long-lasting relationships with customers, providing straightforward recommendations, and making sure the job is done right.

Seth - Technician

Seth comes with a wonderful background in the automotive industry. He has worked on classic cars for much of his life and his passion for working on vehicles stemmed from there.
